Siliguri: Mr. Abhishek Gupta IPS, DC Traffic, Siliguri had a detailed discussion with the representatives of various schools on the issues concerning safety and security of students during their movement in school buses. Wide range of issues from GPS monitoring to putting up of CCTV cameras inside the buses were discussed in detail.
An advisory in this connection shall be issued to various schools shortly. Siliguri Metropolitan Police is committed to ensure safety and security of students during their transit on roads.
