Hyderabad City: In view of the ongoing road work under the SNDP at Rasoolpura, City Police Commissioner Mr. CV Anand inspected the Begumpet-CTO junction stretch to ease the traffic congestion.
Accompanied by Joint CP Traffic, Mr. Anand visited the diversion routes and roads abutting to the main stretch where Nala work is in progress. He instructed traffic officials to instate animated signage boards to alert the commuters and to use the vehicle hit counters effectively to manage the traffic flow.
CP Mr. Anand appealed the public to avoid this route for the next 45 days and follow the diversion routes notified by the traffic police. He also instructed L&O officers to co-ordinate with traffic personnel to manage the crowd.
“Traffic flow reached to pre-COVID level as many IT employees started commuting to office. We will liaise with GHMC officials to expedite Nala work as lakhs of vehicles pass through this stretch every day.” he said. Commuting by metro on the same stretch makes the journey much easier. Mr. AV Ranganath IPS Jt.CP. Traffic, DCP Traffic -1, Mr. Prakash Reddy; Addl.DCP North Zone (L&O), Mr. P. Venkateshwarlu and other officers were present.
