Hyderabad City: Hyderabad City Police has issued warnings to the public as the maximum temperature in Hyderabad has reached 40 degrees Celsius. Police urge people to drink water regularly during this time, not to leave children, adults or pets in the car, to schedule activities at the right time of the day, and to help others.
According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in the city will be in the range of 36-40 degrees Celsius for the next four days.
Sales of coconut water, sugar cane, buttermilk, other soft drinks, ice cream and watermelon increased across the state as temperatures rose sharply.
