Siliguri: Today evening, SI Mr. Swapan Roy OC Bagdogra Traffic Guard received an information that a lot of passengers heading for their homes to Chopra and Islampur are stranded at Phansidewa More due to non- availability of public transport.
On reaching there OC Bagdogra Police Station found that about 150 passengers were stranded there, waiting for some mode of transportation to reach them home so as to celebrate the festival with their loved ones.
OC Bagdogra Traffic Guard immediately made arrangements of some local buses and sent the passengers to their respective destinations.
