Chandigarh: On 13.5.2022 Chandigarh traffic Police conducted traffic rules awareness drive at Sector 7/26/19/27 Chowk, Chandigarh. Special awareness was made on Madhya Marg about following and plying their vehicles in the lanes marked with arrow markings before Solid White Lane on roundabouts.
Citizens were educated about the impact of Juvenile driving, Be a Good Samaritan, the importance of wearing proper safety head gear called helmet, use of seat belts, importance of lane driving, give way to emergency vehicles such as ambulance, fire brigade, and police PCR vehicles, cycle track, Use of Mobile while driving, Impact of Juvenile driving, Rights of pedestrians, zebra crossing and no honking through this program.
