Siliguri: On 5.12.2021 some gold ornaments were reported stolen from the house of Mrs. Puja Sastri at Hakimpara Siliguri.
The I.O of the case ASI Mr. Biswajit Ghosh of Panitanki TOP under Siliguri Police Station, diligently worked on the case and arrested two persons namely Sabuj Karmakar and Dipa Das. The stolen jewelry weighing about 23 grams was also recovered from them.
Today after observing proper formalities, SI Mr. Sudip Dutta – O.C Panitanki TOP, along with the I.O ASI Mr. Biswajit Ghosh and team went to the house of the complainant and handed over the recovered gold jewelry to her.
