Bangalore City: Bangalore City Police Commissioner Mr. Kamal Pant IPS has been replaced by Bangalore City Police Commissioner Mr. CH Pratap Reddy IPS.
Mr.CH Pratap Reddy IPS is well known for his technical expertise in solving financial fraud cases, especially during his tenure at the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Bangalore and Mumbai, Police sources said that Mr. Pratap Reddy IPS has cracked down on several financial fraud cases.
Mr. Kamal Pant IPS, who has been the city police commissioner since August 1, 2020, has been transferred to the DGP (Recruitment) office. He was replaced by Mr. CH Pratap Reddy IPS, a 1991-batch IPS officer from Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh.
