Kishtwar: Kishtwar Police recovered a minor kidnapped girl and arrested the accused persons involved in the commission of crime.
On 19.4.2022, Dachhan Police Station received a complaint stating therein that his daughter had been kidnapped by one Nayeem Ahmed S/o Mohd Ramzan R/o Patnazi Bounjwah.
Accordingly, a case was registered under relevant sections of law in Dachhan Police Station and investigation was initiated.
SSP Kishtwar Mr. Shafqaf Hussain Batt JKPS constituted a special team to trace out the kidnapped minor girl headed by SHO Police Station Dachhan Inspector Mr. Vikram Parihar under the supervision of SDPO Marwah Mr. Devindar Singh Bandral. After putting in hectic efforts the SIT was able to generate human intelligence which was further developed and accordingly the accused namely Nayeem Ahmed S/o Mohd Ramzan R/o Patnazi Bounjwah. was arrested and also the minor abductee was recovered from Rajiv Nagar area of Jammu District.
After fulfilling all medico-legal formalities with the consultation of Child Welfare Committee (CWC), the girl has been handed over to her legal heirs.
SSP Kishtwar Mr. Batt JKPS requested to the general Public to cooperate with police in curbing social crimes in their neighborhood. They can share information pertaining to social crimes with police and we reassure the community members that our efforts in curbing social crimes shall continue.
