Siliguri: The squad comprises of 44 new motorcycles equipped with GPS, walkie-talkies and loud hailers with two traffic policemen in each motorcycle.
The special squad is an initiative taken by Siliguri Metropolitan Police for better traffic management in the City and to provide better services to our fellow citizens.
The Special Squad was flagged off from Mallaguri Police Lines by Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS, CP Siliguri in presence of senior police officers.
