Tirupati: Tirupati Railway Protection Force (RPF) Crime Divisision CI Mr. Madhusudan Rao was awarded the prestigious Indian Police Medal. The Ministry of Railways annually presents the Indian Police Medal to those who have rendered outstanding service in the field of railway defense. In this order, Madhusudan Rao was selected for the Indian Police Medal for the year 2020-21.
However, due to the corona, the awards ceremony for the years 2019-20-21 did not take place. Eighty Indian nationals have been shortlisted for the National Police Medal for three years and were presented with the awards at a function on May 27 at the Vijnanabhavan in New Delhi.
The CI received the Indian Police Medal and Certificate of Appreciation in the presence of Railway DG Mr. Sanjay Chandan and Railway Board Chairman at the hands of Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav. In this context, CI Mr. Madhusudan Rao met SP Mr. Parameswarareddy at the district police office on Wednesday and then SP Mr. Parameswarareddy congratulated CI Mr. Madhusudan Rao.
Mr. Madhusudan Rao joined the police force in 1996 and was promoted to CIA in 2009. He was selected as an International Police Officer for his outstanding service as CIA. During this time, he served for one year as the International Police Officer in Haiti under the auspices of the United Nations for the year 2011-12 and made the country proud.
