Rachakonda: The sleuths of Nacharam Police in coordination with CCS Malkajgiri team of Rachakonda Commissionerate have made sincere efforts and arrested the offender for committing day house burglary in Raghavendra Nagar of Nacharam on 6.6.2022. Police seized 53.9 Tulas of Gold ornaments, 166 grams of Silver ornaments and Net cash Rs.1,50,000/-. All of it put together is worth Rs.30,57,380/ which was recovered from the possession of accused.
The accused was identified as Addanki Arun Kumar(28) S/o Babu Rao, R/o Raghavendra Nagar, Nacharam, Uppal Mandal of Medchal dist. N/o Moulali, Malkajgiri.
Facts of the case are that, on 4.6.2022 received a complainant from Mrs. Gowrisetti Jyotsana W/o Srinivas(38), Occu: Software Employee, R/o H.No. 4-5-15/56. Raghavendra Nagar Colony, Nacharam stating that on 27.5.2022, she along with her husband went to Tirupathi for darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy. On 1.6.2022 at about 10.30 hours one Mr Arun who is her tenant called through his mobile to her husband and stated that, the main door shatters due to the wind blow. She immediately sent her parents to her house, where her parents noticed that the main door latch was removed and the bedroom door latch also cut open. But the Almirah is not opened or damaged. Since then her parents stayed in their house. Later on 3.6.2022 at about 11.00 hours, she returned home and noticed that the gold ornaments about 418 grams (41.8 thulas) gold ornaments and 500 grams (1/2 kg) of silver ornaments are found missing from the Almirah which is in the bedroom. Further, she also stated that some unknown offenders might have opened the main door and bedroom locks by breaking them and committed theft of said gold and silver ornaments with available keys.
Based on her complainant Mr. T. Kiran Kumar. Inspector of Police, Nacharam registered a case and took up the investigation. After receiving information about the offence and based on its gravity and intensity. Mr. Mahesh M. Bhagwat. IPS, Commissioner of Police alerted all the wings of Rachakonda to detect the case.
During the course of the investigation, while examining Mr. Addanki Arun Kumar, tenant of the complainant informed her husband that, the main door shatters due to wind and theft might have occurred. On 5.6.2022 evening, while he was being examined at his residence, he was giving prevaricate answers that lead to many doubts. On thorough examination, finally, he confessed to having committed this offence and kept the booty in his Kirana shop. According to his confession the entire stolen property Gold and Silver ornaments and net cash Rs.1,50,000/- intact recovered from the accused Addanki Arun Kumar.
The accused Addanki Arun Kumar. 28 yrs is running a Kirana shop for three years on the ground floor of the complainant’s house on a rental basis. For a few months, his Kirana shop business earnings were not sufficient to lead his family and he was addicted to bad vices like drinking alcohol. He was spending his money lavishly. For that, he took hand loans from known persons and friends. He is facing many financial problems and he intended to clear off his debts at any cost. So that he choose to get money in easy ways and decided to commit theft. On 27.05.2022, his owner Smt. Jyotsna W/o Srinivas went to Thirupathi by locking their house which is on the first floor. On observing that, he took an opportunity. As per his plan on 30.5.2022 during the lunch hours, he went to the complainants’ house first floor by broke opened the main door latch with screwdriver and the bedroom door latch cut opened by hacksaw blade, went inside the bedroom and opened the Almirah with the available keys in the table draw and committed theft of above-mentioned Gold, Silver ornaments and net cash and kept them in his Kirana shop. Details of the booty are as follows.
The Seized property are: One Gold Chandra haram, Two gold Bangles, Two gold black bead chains, One Gold pearl necklace, One gold leaf necklace, One gold Blue stone necklace, One gold green stone necklace, Two small gold black bead chains, Two gold Surya Chandra lockets, Five pairs of gold ear rings, Three gold finger rings, One gold black bead bracelet,Three pairs of gold mateelu, Two gold lockets (black & red stones), Three gold hooks, P&R shape gold lockets, Gold kothimera, One silver glass, One silver panchapayalu, Small Silver Bowl,Small silver items, One Silver Bowl Net cash. Total silver ornaments weighing 166 grams is worth Rs.1.50.000/-.
This case has been detected under the leadership of Mr. Mahesh M. Bhagwat IPS, Commissioner of Police, Mr. G. Sudheer Babu IPS, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, and the guidance of Mr. P. Yadagiri IPS. DCP Crimes, Mrs. Laxmi. Addl. DCP Crimes-II, Mr. Shyam Prasad Rao, ACP, Malkajgiri. Inspectors Mr.T. Kiran Kumar (SHO Nacharam), Mr. Balu Chowhan (Inspector, CCS Malkajgir), and Mr. B. Nagaraju. DSI, Nacharam Police Station and their teams from the CCS and Law & Order, who worked hard and detected the case. Due to strenuous efforts with great coordination, this case was detected. All are appreciated by the Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda for their good job and will be rewarded suitably.
