Chandigarh: Today, Chandigarh Traffic Police conducted a Road safety Awareness Drive at Grain market Chwok, Tribune Chwok, Sector 25/53d/road, Piccadilly Chowk, Chandigarh. Cyclists were educated to follow traffic lights on slip roads/intersections and only cross when lights for cyclists is green and cross only after checking the traffic taking left from slip roads for their own safety & safety of others.
Motorists were educated to follow traffic lights while crossing slip roads as these lights on slip roads have been installed to give safe passage to cyclists to cross from slip roads to go on the cycle track. During awareness Reflective tape was also affixed on cycles/rickshaw/Rehri for better visibility at night.
