Pauri Garhwal: Two youths who came to visit the banks of Sukhro River in Pauri Garhwal got stuck on the island due to the rise in the water level of the river due to excessive rain. Uttarakhand Police and SDRF on receiving the information reached the spot and rescued both the youths safely from the overflowing river by pulling them up with the help of rope in extreme circumstances.
