Tirunelveli: The Tirunelveli District Superintendent of Police Mr. P. Saravanan IPS, had ordered the district police to take strict action against those involved in the illegal sale of liquor bottles. Following this, the police conducted raids from 9.7.2022 to 16.7.2022 and arrested 30 persons under the TNP Act for illegally selling liquor bottles. Police also seized 241 bottles from them for sale.
