Kerala: The Kerala cyber crime police said while creating an alert on the crime in social media that hackers are trying to hack accounts by sending fake Instagram verification links. Do not click on such links. If we click on such links, hackers take control of the accounts. Through this, hackers can get hold of personal information, photos, videos, and delete them in a person’s account. Scammers also create pages that look like they are meant to get a verification badge. Do not click on the buttons. If there is a mistake, that information can be reported on Instagram immediately.
