Siliguri: Today, a training and sensitization program on POCSO Act and Investigation of Bank Fraud cases was conducted at the conference hall of SPC in association with Shakti Vahini (NGO) and ICICI Bank officials.
Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS CP Siliguri graced the occasion with his inaugural address and welcomed the guest lecturers and the participants.
Mr. Debranjan Banerjee, Ld Special Public Prosecutor, CID WB, Mr. Sanat Deb Sarkar, Ld PP, POCSO Court Siliguri, Mr. N Jha, Ld Advocate enlightened the trainees on the latest amendments of the POCSO Act and the investigation procedures. Valuable inputs were provided by representatives of Shakti Vahini.
Also, a team of officers from ICICI Bank lead by Mr. Indranil Acharya delivered lectures regarding online bank fraud and investigation procedure of Bank fraud cases.
The program was attended by all ranks of SPC, both in-person and online also. Together we stand to fight crime and save the victims.
