Rachakonda: On 24.07.2022 at 14:00 hours the complainant Syam Sunkara, Branch Manager, ICICI Bank, Habsiguda Branch lodged a complaint at Nacharam Police station stating that, one Banoth Suman and Yadla Bixapathi has floated a fictitious firm on the name and style as “Living Interior Designer” at H. No. a/251, Sathya Narayanapuram, Road No.1, Medipally. They have employed about 53 persons in their firm, got opened their savings bank accounts in ICICI bank, Uppal and Habsiguda, Nacharam branches for crediting the salaries. They have also availed over drafting facilities on one card and loan against credit card on other 33 credit cards. The employees/accused had withdrawn cash of Rs.1.33.65.000/- on 34 credit cards by utilizing the credit facility. These entire loans were taken between 6th September 2019 to 30th April 2021 and all the beneficiaries failed to repay the loans. After due verification, it came to know that above firm was fake and no employees working under it. Thus, preferred for legal action against the above said firm directors and others. A case was registered at Nacharam Police Station.
The accused persons were identified as:
Boda Srikanth alias Srikanth(25), s/o. Ramchandru, of Warangal district. He is the Mastermind behind floating the fictitious firm “Living Interior Desinger” and two other firms viz. Yellow Lamp Interior Designers Pvt. Ltd. (Chowdariguda, Narapally) and Brick and Rock Interiors Pvt. Ltd. (Shivapuri Colony. Manikonda). Got opened 53 savings accounts with 34 credit cards and two current accounts on Banoth Suman & Yadia Bixaptahi (Proprietors).
Banoth Suman(30), S/o. Hari singh of Mahoobubabad district. He Withdrew an amount of Rs. 1,33.65,000/- by using 34 credit cards and cheated the Bank. Proprietor of the fictitious firm “Living Interior Designer”
Bhukya Nagesh (25), S/o. Keshya of Warangal district. Courier boy, having knowledge about the cheating of Boda Srikanth and delivered all the credit cards to Boda Srikanth by collecting Rs.1000/- for each credit card.
Guddeti Goutham(27), S/o. Late. Raj Kumar of Medchal district. Friend of Srikanth, obtained loan on the name of his wife Tirichi Deepika, evaded the payment and cheated the Bank.
Yadla Bikshapathi, R/o. Narsampet, Warangal (Not examined/ expired) And Others. Proprietor of “Living Interior Designer” company.
The Police seized the following property from the possession of the accused persons: Debit cards of different banks – 93 (Yes Bank Debit cards-14, Axis bank Debit cards-18, ICICI Bank Debit cards-51. AU Small Finance Debit card-1.HDFC bank Debit cards-09); Credit cards of different Banks -03 (Axis Bank Credit cards-02, ICICI Bank Credit card-01); Axis bank Priority Pass card-02 nos.; One new Volkswagen car; Brick and Rock Interiors Pvt. Ltd. Identity cards-6; Yellow Lamp Interior Designers Pvt. Ltd, Identity cards 18; Brick and Rock Interiors Stamp & Seals 3; Yes bank ATM card and cheque book kits 9; Standard Charted ATM card and cheque book kits; Axis Bank ATM & checkbook kits 10; AU small Finance Bank kits 6; Cheque books of different banks – 60 (ICICI cheque books – 12. Yes bank Cheque books-34. Axis Bank Cheque books -3, HDFC cheque books 6, AU Platinum Cheque book-1, Indusland cheque books – 1. AU Bank cheque book-1. RBL bank cheque books – 2); Monitors 1; CPU’s 2 Nos.; One Keyboard; PAN cards 28 nos.; Aadhar cards 54 nos.; Voter card 1; Mobile Phones-17 nos. (5 smart phones & 12 basic phones).
During the course of investigation, it came to light that one Boda Srikanth, native of Boda thanda. Jalli village. Chennaraopet Mandal, Warangal district and presently residing at Pragathi Nagar. Kukatpally is the mastermind and main culprit behind the fraud registered at Nacharam Police Station.
On 8.8.2022, the main culprit Boda Srikanth was apprehended along with his associates at his residence Pragathi Nagar, Kukatpally. The investigation so far done established that Boda Srikanth has completed his diploma in Metallurgy from Kothagudem. He is greedy of money and wanted to earn easy money within no time. He used to go through the Newspapers, You tubes about various cheatings and finally came with an idea of creating fictitious firms, obtain loans and evade the payments. Thus, he designed and created one fake firm on the name and style “Living Interior Designs” and established its office at Satya Narayanapuram under the limits of Medipally Police Station.
The accused Srikanth collected Aadhar cards of Banoth Suman and Yadla Bikshapathi both residents of erstwhile Warangal district and nearby his native place. He promised them of providing loans, collected their Aadhar cards got prepared PAN cards etc. and floated the fictitious firm “Living Interior Designer” by showing Banoth Suman and Yadla Bikshapathi as Proprietors and also obtained Labour License for the said firm.
Boda Srikanth visited the nearby thandas at his native place, collected Aadhar Cards from the gullible uneducated/semi-educated youth, housewives with a promise of providing loans at meager interest.
Boda Srikanth enrolled 53 persons as employees of the “Living Interior Designer” firm, got opened their savings accounts in ICICI Bank at Habsiguda, Ramanthapur and Uppal Branches for crediting their salaries through Bank. Believing the version of the accused Boda Srikanth the Bank authorities opened the accounts in their Bank.
Boda Srikanth credited Rs.1 Lakh to 2 Lakhs salary into the accounts of 34 Credit card holders and raised their Income Range to get Good Credit Line for getting maximum purchase/credit limit.
By using the facilities provided by the ICICI Bank for the credit card holders Srikanth had withdrawn a total amount of Rs.1,33,65,000/- on 34 credit cards and paid partial amount to the card holders by making them to believe that they have got loan at meager interest and evaded the repayment.
Likewise, the accused Srikanth floated another two fictitious companies such as Yellow Lamp Interior Designers Pvt. Ltd. (Chowdariguda, Narapally) and Brick and Rock Interiors Pvt. Ltd. (Shivapuri Colony. Manikonda) and cheated the YES Bank, HDFC and other Banks too.
Boda Srikanth had also taken a Ford endeavour car from Bank of Baroda and Volkswagen car from Axis Bank by paying partial down payments withdrawn from the ICICI Bank credit cards.
The above seized property and apprehended persons are being produced in the court for judicial remand. Efforts are in progress to nab remaining persons.

Kumar Swamy, Sub-Inspector of Police, Nacharam Police Station and Police personnel of SOT, Malkajgiri zone and Nacharam Police Station of Rachakonda Commissionerate.
