Bageshwar: Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Bageshwar Mr. Amit Srivastava and under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bageshwar Mr. Shivraj Singh Rana, on the occasion of Independence Day, in order to encourage the police officers/employees to have good health, entertainment and to perform their duties efficiently, badminton was organized in Badminton Hall Police Line Bageshwar in order to keep them away from mental stress and to keep them fit, in which the team of all the police stations/posts/branches of the district participated. Out of the participating teams, Police Line Bageshwar and Bageshwar Circle team played the final match in which Bageshwar Circle team was declared the winner. Winner/runner-up teams will be awarded trophy/award by the Superintendent of Police.
On this occasion, it was said by the Superintendent of Police that sports is very important and beneficial for all of us, so sports is very important for the police personnel to keep themselves away from stress along with their duty to stay fit and healthy, Therefore, sports will continue to be organized from time to time for the encouragement, good health and entertainment of the police officers/employees.
