Dharmapuri: A district level volleyball tournament was held on behalf of Dharmapuri District Volleyball Association at the District Sports Hall in Dharmapuri for 2 days. More than 400 students and players participated and played in these matches. A prize distribution ceremony was held for the winners of these competitions. Dharmapuri District Volleyball Association President Thandapani presided over the function. Association Secretary Thanasekar, Treasurer Gopi, Deputy Secretary Rangadurai, Vice President Chandrakumar, District Sports Officer Shanti were present.
Santhosh, Volleyball coach of Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority gave the welcomed speech. District Superintendent of Police Mr. Kalaichelvan IPS presented the prize and certificate and gave the felicitation speech. The event was attended by association officials, players and public.
