Siliguri: Today, on the auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day as well as birth anniversary of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Siliguri Police Commissionerate is happy to announce the starting of third E- Shiksha Center in Ambari Falakata OP under NJP Police Station with the initiative of SI Sandip Dutta, OC Ambari OP and in association with Softech Computer Education Center. The E- Shiksha center will have 6 computers and shall provide basic education in computers to 24 needy school children.
In a ceremony organized at Ambari, Mr. Gaurav Sharma IPS, CP Siliguri and other senior officers as well as Head Masters of various schools gave admit cards to the selected students. Also, study materials were given to the children. It was followed by a tree plantation drive.
CP Siliguri saluted the role of teachers in building the nation and civilization by helping in education and growth of children. Respected Head Masters were also felicitated and saluted by him.
