Serchhip: The diligent and dedicated follow up always pay rich dividends. Professional thieves are behind bars. In the intervening night of 5th-6th Sept. between 2AM – 6AM, unknown miscreant(s) sneaked into one residence at Serchhip Hmarveng through an open window and stole one mobile phone Redmi 10A and Electric Heater.
A complaint was registered at Serchhip Police Station and based on the complaint an investigation was initiated into the case swiftly and the police personal investigating the case zeroed in on to the accused and arrested him. The accused was identified as F.Lalngaihawma(25) s/o F. Lalpiangthara of Serchhip Chanmari and the stolen items were recovered. On sustained interrogation, his involvement in previous burglary case at Serchhip Town was also revealed and further investigation is in progress.
