CHENNAI: The Madras High Court gets 200 Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV), at its premises on Tuesday here in Chennai. The CCTV cameras are due to be commissioned soon. The Chief Justice of Madras High Court Sanjay Kishan Kaul will inaugurate it in the presence of Mr. O P Singh, Director General, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Mr K V K Sriram, CISF Senior commandant told reporters. He also took note of the cameras installed inside and outside the court premises and it will be monitored at the high-tech control room set up at the office of the senior commandant. As many as six scanning centres are being set up covering all entry points to the High Court, the process is scheduled to be completed by March 2017, Mr. Sriram said. Along with this upgradation in the security set up the scanners would be like the ones installed at airports, he added. ]]>
