Visakhapatnam City: Head Constable Mr. B.Swamy Naidu, was working in MVP Traffic Police Station of City Traffic Division, Visakhapatnam City Police. He was on duty at Maddilapalem. Last month when some concrete chips fell from a passing concrete lorry on the road causing some two-wheeler riders to slip, then the head constable noticed that and to prevent accidents he was cleaning them by pushing them aside with a piece of wood, A passing motorist shot a video on the mobile phone and posted it on YouTube, the video went viral.
Andhra Pradesh Home and Disaster Management Minister Mrs. Taneti Vanitha saw it and praised it and informed the City Police Commissioner. The City Police Commissioner Mr. CH Srikanth, IPS, who came to know about the matter, called Head Constable Mr. B. Swamy Naidu to his office on 9.9.2022 and congratulated him by giving him a letter of appreciation along with a reward.
