Thiruvannamalai: Under the leadership of Thiruvannamalai East Police Inspector Mr. Gunasekaran, the police conducted raids yesterday in collaboration with the Food Safety Department and the Revenue Department at various places in the city with the aim of eradicating drugs like Gutka and Ganja. They raided a grocery store opposite Thiruvannamalai Central Bus Station. Then it was revealed that Gutka products were kept for sale in that shop. After that, the shop was ‘sealed’ and the owner was arrested. Gutka items weighing 590 grams were also seized from the shop.
