Thiruvannamalai: On 13.9.2022, according to the confidential information received by Tiruvannamalai District Superintendent of Police Dr. K. Karthikeyan, IPS., Sengam Prohibition Enforcement Division Police Inspector Ms.M.Malar led a search operation in Thokkawadi area near Sengam. During the search conducted in Thokkawadi area, about 750 liters of illicit liquor was found in the village and destroyed. Police are actively searching for the absconding accused. Also Sengam Prohibition Enforcement Division Police Inspector Ms. M. Malar (in-charge), Thiruvannamalai Prohibition Enforcement Division) followed by Thiruvannamalai Prohibition Enforcement Division Police Assistant Inspector Mr. M. Suresh along with the police officers near Thanipadi near Malamanjanur Road Mallapuram X-Road found Venkatesan T/P Ravi, a resident of Malamanchanur village, Thandarampatu circle, to be selling ganja packets in Kallanguthu village and the police are actively searching for the absconder when they went to arrest him. Ganja weighing 280 grams was also seized from there.
