Mizoram: The Mizoram police said, we always welcome and seek active public support in our fight against crimes and criminals. Yesterday, BSNL copper cable approximately 220 meters, valued at Rs.46,926/- near HDFC Bank, Mizoram Rural Bank and CYLA Hall of L-III, Lawngtlai were stolen away by unknown miscreants.
As soon as the information was received by the Lawngtlai Police Station, the staff acted swiftly and nabbed three accused persons namely Sangkunga(37) s/o K.Kaphranga(L) of Lawngtlai III; Lalthanpara Sailo(36) s/o Lalbiaktluanga, Lawngtlai AOC Veng; and Lalhmahruaikima(21) s/o L.H.Thlathanga, New Vengpui, Lawngtlai with the help of YLA Lawngtlai and recovered the stolen articles from their possession. The Mizoram Police appreciated Lawngtlai Police and thanked YLA Lawngtlai for their help in apprehending the accused persons.
