Kallakurichi: Sub-Inspector Mr. Subramanian alias Kozhi Subramanian, who was working at Kariyalur Police Station in Kalvarayanmalai area, said that when he left for work from his house in Shankarapuram at about 5 am to go to the Madras High Court in connection with the Police Station case, his relatives took him to the local hospital for treatment. When the doctor did the examination, he was already dead. The tragic loss of life while going home from the police station to take documents related to the case from the police station in the evening before going to the High Court has caused grief among fellow policemen.
