Rachakonda: Rachakonda SHE-Teams booked 76 cases of which 10 were FIRS, 31 were petty cases and 35 were counseling cases against eve teasers in the last four weeks and apprehended 124 respondent eve teasers, out of 45 majors and 79 minors. The respondent eve-teasers have attended the counseling session conducted by Rachakonda SHE Teams, at the Commissioner Camp office, Alkapuri X roads, LB Nagar, along with their family members and they are counseled by the professional counselors from the Bhumika Women’s Collective (NCO). Children in conflict with law were also counseled by professional psychiatrist Dr. Vasavi to bring change in their behavior.

This is case of sexual harassment/misbehaving with minor boys by their hostel warden. The accused Murram Krishna(35) s/o Yarraiah, R/o Hayathnagar, Ranga Reddy district who is working as a Hostel warden in a private Boys hostel at Hayathnagar from the last one month and staying in the same Hostel along with students. The accused is 35 years old and not married. Frustrated for not being married the accused set his eyes on minor students in their Hostel to fulfill his sexual desires when they are sleeping alone by showing pron videos by threatening and try to seduce them. To overcome the sexual feelings, he used to go to the students bed who are sleeping alone and use to sleep beside them and used to touch their private parts in an appropriate manner and used to harass them regularly. Many times, the accused entered into bathrooms while the students were taking bath to touch their private parts. In this manner the accused harassed 7 minor students in the same Hostel by putting them in fear and threatened them not to reveal the matter to anyone. But due to repeated harassment of the accused, some of the students felt embarrassed and unable to bear the harassment told the entire ordeal to their parents. The matter came up to the She Team Rachakonda. SHE Teams of Hayathingar Police Station registered the complaints and 7 cases with different sections including POCSO Act and the accused was arrested and remanded.
This is a case of sexual harassment at work place by her colleague. One 30 year old woman residing at Kushaiguda area and working in a Private job, her colleague/respondent R/o Pharma compmay, Wherein the respondent Venkata Ramreddy(39) S/o Venkateshwar Reddy, also working in the same company. The chat with her on the pretext of work issues and moved closely and casually he calls her. The respondent has been sexually harassing her by sending text and Whatsapp but she didn’t responded.
The respondent has been sending vulgar messages and harassing her and spreading false rumors on her. On her complaint booked a Petty Case u/s 70(C) of CP Act was registered at Kushaiguda Police Station against him.
The complainant is not interested to register FIR and requested to conduct counseling

Bhongir Team: SHE Team Bhongir conducted decoy operations in the area, booked 4 counseling cases and apprehended 7 minor boys/respondents who were creating nuisance and eve teasing girls by making indecent sings. Hence conducted counseling for the boys.
Choutuppal Team: SHE Team Choutuppal conducted decoy operation and counseling cases and apprehended 5 in the area, booked 2 minor boys/respondents who were creating nuisance and eve teasing girls by making indecent sings. Hence conducted counseling for the boys.
Ibrahimpatnam Team: SHE Team Ibrahimpatnam conducted decoy operations at Ibrahimpatnam area, booked 4 cases and caught 17 minors/respondents while roaming unnecessarily and eve teasing girls in the area. Hence conducted Counseling for the boys.
Kushaiguda She Team: SHE Team Kushaiguda conducted decoy operations at Kushaiguda area, booked 9 counseling cases and caught 19 minors/respondents while roaming unnecessarily and eve teasing girls in the area. Hence conducted counseling for the boys.
LB Nagar She Team: SHE Team LB Nagar conducted decoy operations in the area, booked 6 counseling cases and caught 9 minors/respondents while roaming unnecessarily and eve teasing girls in the area. Hence conducted Counseling for the boys.
Malkajgiri She Team: SHE Team Malkajgiri conducted decoy operations in the are and booked 5 counseling cases and caught 11 minors/respondents while roaming unnecessarily and eve teasing girls in the area. Hence conducted counseling for the boys.
Vanasthalipuram She Team: She Team Vanasthalipuram conducted decoy operations in the area, booked 5 cases and 11 minors/respondents while roaming unnecessarily and eve teasing girls in the area. Hence conducted counseling for the boys.
Malkajgiri Team: SHE Team Malkajgin conducted decoy operations in the area and booked 3 counselling cases caught four minors/respondents while roaming unnecessarily and eve teasing girls in the and area. Hence conducted counseling for the boys.
On 16.7.2022 & 31.7.2022 She Team Malkajgin conducted Decoy Operations and booked two petty cases against the respondents Pudivalasala Durga Prasad(22) S/o: Nageshwar Rao R/o Sharada Nagar Near Hanuman temple Vanasthalipuram, Jagadeesh(19) s/o Yadaiah Age R/o Prashanth Nagar Vanasthalipuram Mohmmad, Waseem(34) s/o Md.Yousaf, r/o babuji nagar, musheerabad. They were creating nuisance and teasing girls. Hence petty case was booked under CP Act.
Vanasthalipuram Team: SHE Team Vanasthalipuram conducted decoy operations in the Bhongir town and apprehended minor boys/respondent who is creating nuisance and eve teasing girls by making indecent sings. Hence one conducted counseling for the boys.
SHE Teams conducted Decoy operation and observation in Metro trains and caught 5 persons who intruded into the ladies compartment and were fined by the metro station master.
Child marriages were prevented by SHE teams Rachakonda.
Rachakonda SHE teams under the Leadership of Mr. Mahesh M Bhagwat, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda and with the cooperation of the Self-help groups’ awareness programs were taken up by the SHE Teams Rachakonda to bring awareness among the common people in Prohibition of Child Marriages. In this awareness programs the SHE Teams Rachakonda made the public understand the problems of child marriages and the child marriages alarming in rural areas.
As a success of the above awareness programs in the last two month Rachakonda SHE Teams Stopped 3 child marriages by Kushaiguda Team 1, Bhongir SHE Team 1 and Ibrahimpatnam Team 1 and as on today total 155 child marriages have been stopped by Rachakonda SHE Teams and rescued 155 minor girls from the Social evil- child marriages which were planned to perform at different places by their parents.
In addition to the above, in the last four weeks total 124 eve teasers were caught by Rachakonda SHE teams in decoy operations and through WhatsApp/SMUC complaints from different areas of Rachakonda while they are teasing girls at different Hotspots like Metro train/ junctions/ Bus stops/Working Places and colleges of the Rachakonda area. All are booked under petty cases/FIRs and counseled by professional counselors of Bhumika Women’s collective in the presence of their family members. Minors will be counseled by Chief Consultant Psychologist.
