Bangalore: Yelahanka is now a suburb of Bangalore in the state of Karnataka and one of the zones of BBMP. It is the oldest part of present Municipal Bengaluru city and is in the north of the city. The Five Day Indian Air Force Space Capsule that was held at Air Force Station, Yelahanka concluded on 23.9.2022. The past five days saw intensive lectures and discussions covering every gambit of space operations.
Participants included officers of Indian Air Force, scientists of ISRO, professors of IISc Bangalore and domain specialists from IAF MCC, Defence Space Agency and CAPS India.
Air Comander MK Yadav, Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station Yelahanka presided over the closing ceremony. He thanked all participants for their whole hearted involvement in the capsule and for the extensive sharing of knowledge and ideas.
