Nabbed two notorious interstate offenders, detected their crimes

Hyderabad City: On 26.9.2022 morning hours sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone,  apprehended 2 interstate offenders namely Koneti Gyaneshware alias Gnaneshwar , Neelam Srinivas,  who were involved in one-Murder for Gain in the limits of Lmd Colony Police Station, Thimmapur Police station, Karimnagar Police station and 05-chain snatching, and 01- two wheeler  offences pertaining to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State. The police seized the 10.4 Tulas of gold ornaments, one Glamour bike bearing registration.No.TS-05-EJ-8908, One Cellphone (Lava) from their possession.

The accused persons were identified as Koneti Gyaneshware alias Gnaneshwar(26) S/o K. Salaiah, of Warangal District, Telangana State; Neelam Srinivas(33), S/o  N. Mallesham late, N/o. Warangal, Telangana State; Ganta Nagababu(18), S/o Venkata Subbarao, R/o. Gayatri Nagar, Vijaywada is absconding in a case registered in  Penamaluru Police Station, Krishna who is receiver of  gold chain is Presently in Rajmundary Jail.

Brief about Koneti Gyaneshware Gnaneshwar:

The accused Koneti Gyaneshware alias Gnaneshwar is native of Aleru (Vi), Nellikudur, Warangal, Telangana State. He is having only one sister. He discontinued his BSc from New Science Degree & PG Collage, Hunter road, Hanmankonda District.  In the year 2019, while he was pursing degree final, he eloped one minor girl for which, he was arrested by Nellikudur Police Station, Warangal District in POSCO Act case. Later, in the Year 2021, he was arrested in NDPS Act (Ganja) case from Palwancha Police Station, Khammam District.

Brief about Neelam Srinivas:

The accused Neelam Srinivas is native of Warangal district and presently he is staying with his wife and children in Mulugu, District.  He is having four brothers and two sisters. He studied up to 8th standard. In the year 2000, Neelam Srinivas’s elder brother Venkateshwarlu murdered by neighbor Chandu due to land dispute. Later in the year 2004, he and his brothers murdered Chandu. He was arrested by Mills colony Police, Warangal. Recently, he started daily finance business.

Modus operandi: The accused Koneti Gyaneshware, when he was in Kammam Jail in NDPS (Ganja) case, Neelam Srinivas was also in same Jail.  Both met there and developed friendship. After releasing from jail.  In the month of May 2022, Neelam Srinivas went to Gnaneshwar native place wherein they discussed about their financial problems and daily expenses. Both hatched a plan to commit theft and snatching and run their expenses where Neelam Srinivas also planned that stolen amount will be invested in Share market to get money with profits.  For which Neelam Srinivas given an idea he know well famous astrologist by name Chelpoori Pedda Swamy , Sri Hanman temple, Jogaiahpalli, Thimmapur, Karimnagar since five years.  He also told that Swamy earned huge money and gold ornaments, stored in his premises and decided to Murder Swamy to steal his property. Neelam Srinivas, and Gnaneshwar went to Ashram Karminagar and met with Saint Swamy.  After three day Gnaneshwar again visited Ashram Karimnagar met Saint Swamy, resided in the Ashram for three days by doing Swamy ji’s service.  In the three days he observed the entire Ashram of the Swamy.

As per their plan, on 3rd  of May 2022, Koneti Gyaneshware and Neelam Srinivas went to Ashram Karminagar and stayed for one day. On the intervening night of 3/4-5-2022, woke up and went inside the room and strangulated Swamy with towel, murdered him, stole Gold ear ring and Rs.32, 000/- from Swamy’s Almirha.  Both fled away from there.

Koneti Gyaneshware and Neelam Srinivas weren’t satisfied with above gained property. As such both hatched a plan to commit chain snatchings in Vijayawada town with stolen bike. For which, Koneti Gyaneshware and Neelam Srinivas went to Suryapet and committed theft of Glamour bike, which was parked in front of Sri Chaithanya School, Suryapet town.  On Stolen Glamour bike bearing registration No.TS-05-EJ-8908, they went to Vijayawada and committed four chain snatching in the limits of Penamaluru Police Station of Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh.

After committing above offences, Koneti Gyaneshware and Neelam Srinivas came to Hyderabad and committed one Gold Chain snatching in the limits of SR Nagar Police Station on the stolen Glamour bike bearing registration No.TS-05-EJ-8908.

Yesterday on 26.9.2022 at Morning hours, the accused Srinivas and Gyaneshwar came near Mithrivanam, Ameerpet, Hyderabad on the Stolen Glamour bike along with stolen gold ornaments to dispose. In the meantime the West Zone Task Force team apprehended them and recovered the above said property from their possession.

The arrests were made under the supervision of Mr. P. Radha Kishan Rao, Deputy Commissioner of Police (OSD), Commissioner’s Task Force, Mr. T. Srinath Reddy, Inspector of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone team, and SIs Mr. P. Chandramouli, Mr. P. Mallikarjun, Mr. Sheik Kaviuddin, Mr. Md. Mujaffar Ali, along with DI Mr. Ram Prasad, SR Nagar Police Station.
