Chennai: Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Shankar Jiwal IPS flagged off 100 Gypsy patrol vehicles fitted with new Beacon Lights.
Chennai Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mr. Mr. Shankar Jiwal IPS flagged off their use and launched it yesterday.
These vehicles are equipped with patrol vehicle signal lights and loudspeakers. The Government of Tamil Nadu said that it will be very useful to take quick action on the service calls received at the Police Control Office and the service calls received by the Traffic Police.
