THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 30 -year-old man was arrested by the Thiruvallam Police for allegedly supplying ganja to the school and college students in and around Thiruvallam on Tuesday at the city outskirts by the city shadows Police. He is identified as Biju, a resident of Karinkadamukal, Thiruvallam, Police told Policenewsplus. The accused was arrested when he was found suspiciously roaming around Christ Nagar school at Thiruvallam. The Police found 16 small packets of ganja from his possession after he was caught. Police added that, Biju was at the spot to supply the substances to the school students. Interrogation revealed that he used to supply the cannabis after finding the buyers through Whatsapp. Police said, Biju used to get the substances at a very nominal price from Theni and Kambam in Tamil Nadu and he earned huge profit by selling at `500 and `200 per packet based on the quantity. It is suspected he was only a carrier of a big racket functioning in the city, said Police. Thiruvananthapuram Police Commissioner Mr. G Sparjan Kumar said in a statement, probe would be intensified in future to arrest the members of the racket. ]]>
