Tuticorin: This year’s Arulmiku Mutharamman temple Dussehra festival at Kulasekaranpattinam is being held from 26.9.2022 to 5.10.2022. On the occasion of this festival on 5.10.2022, and 6.10.2022 a large number of devotees and public came for the Darshan.
Under the leadership of District Superintendent of Police Dr. L. Balaji Saravanan IPS, 2100 police including 6 Additional Superintendents of Police, 22 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 83 Police Inspectors and Assistant Inspectors were doing security work.
On the occasion of the said festival, the District Superintendent of Police on 5.10.2022 inspected the security work of the police in the Kulasekaranpattinam Arulmiku Mutharamman temple complex and its surrounding areas and the public and devotees are being monitored by the police using ‘drone camera’ and CCTV camera as a measure to prevent crime. During this study, the District Crime Archives Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mr. Promanandhan, including the police was present.
