Ariyalur: Tamil Nadu Commando Division ADGP Mrs. Bala Nagadevi IPS has ordered to conduct demonstration training on disaster recovery in non-sea districts in view of North East Monsoon.
According to the direction of Ariyalur District Superintendent of Police Mr. K. Perozhan Abdullah IPS, 60 armed forces and law and order policemen are being given three days training. On the first day, how to provide first aid to victims of calamities like floods during calamities.
On the 2nd day, a security drill was conducted at the Velappan Chetty Lake, Udayarpalayam. Training was given on how to rescue people caught in floods and how to handle rubber boats.
