Namakkal: Palanichami (60) from Varapalayam near Namakkal, Veluchami (37) from Sungakaranpatti, Arumugam (56) from Potthanur in Karur district and Subramani (51) from Gandhi Nagar were arrested by the Vellore police. 52 thousand 700 rupees and 3 motorcycles have been seized from them and investigation is underway. Similarly, Paramathi police arrested 3 persons namely Thirukkedeeswaran (29) from Paramathi, Dileepan (27) and Raghu (26) from Maravapalayam who were selling fake lottery tickets from outside the state in Paramathi. The police confiscated Rs.700 from them. Also, the police arrested 11 people who sold foreign lottery tickets and are investigating.
