Krishnagiri: In Kamaraj Colony of Hosur Corporation, a government middle school is functioning and 1300 people are studying in this school. In this school, the lunch break was given at 1 pm and all the school students went back to the school room at 2 o’clock after eating, after a while the students in the 6th and 7th rooms of the middle school were suddenly attacked by poison gas, their eyesight became blurry, some students had vomiting and fainting spells, and when more than a hundred students started falling down one after the other in a state of unconsciousness, the teachers and staff of the school were immediately shocked to see this. The government hospital was informed and an ambulance was called and through it the school students were taken to Hosur Government Hospital and treated there.
The city police arrived at the spot and are investigating the matter. The parents and relatives of the students came to know about the incident and stormed the Hosur Government Hospital panicking as to what happened to their children. Due to this, the entire region was seen to be busy. The district administration chairman Mr. Jayachandra Banu Reddy, who came to know the information, and Mr. Aravind ASP of Hosur informed that 67 students have been affected. He informed that only one student has been sent to Krishnagiri General Hospital.
