Birbhum: 2 residents residing under the jurisdiction of Labhpur and Sainthia Police Station area were abducted and their families received ransom calls. The family members of the abducted victims registered a complaint at Birbhum District Police who investigated the case and efficiently rescued the abducted persons from Salar Police Station area under Murshidabad District. The Police arrested 5 miscreants in connection with the abduction.
