Hyderabad: On the morning of 14.10.2022 at 07:00 hours a complaint was lodged at Uppal Police Station by Sri Narsimla Venkateshwarlu(52) s/o Narsimha, doing business r/o Flat No B21. Srinivasa Heights, Adarsha Nagar, Uppal. Medchal Malkajgiri District stating that, his neighbor informed him at 0600 hours that his father Narsimla Narsimh, age: 75 years priest by profession and younger brother Narsimla, age: 45 years was hacked to death by some unknown persons at their residence at Hanuma Sai Nagar, Uppal. A case was registered and the same was investigated into.
The details of the deceased persons are:
Narsimla Narsimha s/o Venkata Narayana, age: 75 yrs. Occ: Priest. Caste: Brahmin. r/o H No 2-2-150. Hanuma Sai Nagar. Uppal, Medchal Malkajgiri Dist
Narsimla Srinivas s/o Narsimha, age: 45 yrs. Caste: Brahmin. Occ: Software employee. r/o H No 2-2-150. Hanuma Sai Nagar. Uppal, Medchal Malkajgiri Dist
Basing on the technical evidence and as per the versions of the eye witnesses the prime accused was identified as Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy alias Vinay alias Chintu(31) r/o Mamidipally (V). Balapur (M). Ranga Reddy District(hacked Narsimla Narsimha to Death) who along with Yalla Bala Krishna alias Balu (33) s/o Venkateshwarlu (hacked Narsimla Srinivas to Death) was taken into custody on 17.10.2022 at 1600 hours at Suchitra Circle. Basing on the confessions of the accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy and Yalla Bala Krishna the accused Jagadeesh, Ganvaya Ram, and Gaikawad Shayam Sundar alias Shyam were taken into custody on 18.10.2022 at MGBS at 0600 hours when they were trying to escape.
In the year 1991, Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy’s Al’s father Parma Yogender Reddy was murdered due to political rivalry at Thukaramgate, Hyderabad. , Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy along with his elder brother and sisters were brought up at his grandmother’s house at Uppal. Narsimla Narsimha is a priest by profession. The maternal uncle of Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy namely Janga Reddy used to visit the house of Narsimla Narsimha frequently for performing pooja. the accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy along with his maternal uncle visited the house of Narsimla Narsimha and used to call him as Taatha (Grandpa). The accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy got attracted to the Pooja of Narsimla Narsimha and became superstitious that he can achieve anything with the pooja of Narsimla Narsimha.
In the year 2016, Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy alias Vinay alias Chintu appeared for SI examination, during that time the deceased with a promise to perform Pooja to get of SI job collected Rs: 6,00,000/- and made him to pay Rs: 12,50,000/- to Mr.Vali residing near Kismathpur, Bandlaguda and Rajyalakshmi. They did not do any favour and he couldn’t get the job. When he pressurized him to return the amount. Vali returned Rs.10,00,000/- cash and for Rs.2,50,000/- Cheques but D1 Narsimha failed to return Rs.6,00,000/- and dodged the matter.
The accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy invested 13.5 lakhs with one Varun who was a contractor. On repeated requests the said Varun failed to repay the amount to the accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy Vinay for which he approached Narsimla Narsimha with a request to perform pooja. On that Narsimla Narsimha collected Rs.40.000/- for performing Pooja. When the said Varun returned half amount, Narsimla Narsimha D-1 collected Rs.1.50.000/- by saying that due to his pooja the contractor repaid half of the amount.
In the year 2019. the accused Vinay Reddy approached D-1 that. he is unable to settle in the life, on that Narsimla Narsimha informed him that “Grahas” are not in his favour and advised him to go abroad and collected Rs:11,000/- for performing Pooja. Later he went to Australia but, he couldn’t continue due to Lockdown, and he returned to India in September 2020.
From March 2021 onwards the accused Vinay Reddy mounted pressure on Narsimla Narsimha to return his Rs.6.00.000/- which was taken by him with a promise of doing Pooja to get SI job. But Narsimla Narsimha dragged the matter and started to avoid him. As the matter stood such from September 2021 the accused built up a strong feeling that he felt sick and suffering financially, unnecessary facing mental stress including involvement of police case against him since he was arrested in Cr No 244/2022 U/sec 326, 504. 148 r/w 149 IPC of Pahadishareef Police Station. He was facing bad vibes on every Pournami day and following two days which was only due to Narsimla Narsimha who might have performed black magic on him in order to avoid repaying of 6 lakhs. The accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy decided to do away Narsimla Narsimha.
Accordingly, he took the help of his friend Bala Krishna, his villager Lal Jagadeesh Goud(36) s/o Late Yadaiah Goud, r/o near Hanuman Temple. Mamidipally (V), Balapur (M), Ranga Reddy District, in turn introduced Ganvaya Ram(56) s/o Late G.Krishna r/o Banjarawadi. Karwan. Asif Nagar. Hyderabad. He stayed in hostel, conducted recky and intimated the movements of Gaikawad Shayam Sundar alias Shyam(42) s/o Late Ram Chander, r/o weaker section Qtrs. Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Film Nagar, Hyderabad, to Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy and all together discussed about their plan and they identified Sri Venkateshwara Deluxe Boys hostel situated opposite to the house of Narsimla Narsimha which was very much easier to watch the movements of Narsimla Narsimha.
The accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy provided cell phones to the accused Jagadeesh and Ganvaya Ram for communication and arranged room No 8 in the said hostel. On 8.10.2022 Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy, Bala Krishna, and Jagadeesh kept Ganvaya Ram in the said room for observing the movements of Narsimla Narsimha and to inform the same to them. On the day of incident the accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy, and Bala Krishna also joined the accused Ganvaya Ram in the hostel and were watching the movements of Narsimla Narsimha from the hostel and was waiting for an opportunity. At 05:45 am when the maid servant of Narsimla Narsimha opened the gate, all of sudden the accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy, and Bala Krishna who were carrying a sickle and knife entered into the house of Narsimla Narsimha and threatened the maid servant.
The accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy attacked Narsimla Narsimha and hacked him brutally with a sickle while the accused Bala Krishna stabbed Narsimla Narsimha on his chest resulting in instantaneous death. The accused Gaddi Karthik(22) s/o Kondalu r/o Sri Ram Colony. Jalpally (V). Balapur (M). Ranga Reddy District and A-7 Vakiti Sudhakar Reddy(32) s/o Anji Reddy, r/o Saraswathi nagar colony. Chinthalakunta Check post. L.B.Nagar provided a two wheeler and transferred an amount of Rs.20,000/- and Rs.15.000/- respectively to Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy after the offence to escape and concealed the vehicle. The accused Mrs. Likki Savithri(60) w/o Parama Yogender Reddy, r/o Mamidipally (V). Balapur (M). Ranga Reddy District is the mother of the accused Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy and washed away the blood stained clothes of Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy.
The accused Lal Jagadeesh Goud, Ganvaya Ram, and Gaikawad Shayam Sundar alias Shyam were taken into custody on 18.10.2022 at 0600 hours at MGBS bus stand and are yet to be examined.
The Police seized the following property: blood-stained clothes of Bala Krishna, blood-stained sickle and knife from Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy, and Bala Krishna, one motorcycle from Ganvaya Ram, and Cell phones from Likki Vinay Yogendar Reddy, Bala Krishna, Jagadeesh, and Ganvaya Ram. The motive of murder is Sorcery/Black Magic.
In the case of double murder, even though there are no clues. efforts were made to detect the case with the assistance of SOT under the supervision of Mr. Mahesh M. Bhagwat IPS Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda. Ms. Rakshitha K Murthy IPS. DCP Malkajgiri Zone. Mr. K.Muralidhar, DCP, SOT. Mr. P.Naresh Reddy. ACP Malkajgiri Division. Mr. Venkanna Naik, ACP. SOT. Mr. Ramulu. Inspector. SOT Malkajgiri and his team. Mr. R.Govinda Reddy. Inspector of Uppal Police Station. Mr. B.Nehru, SI. Uppal and staff in short period detected and arrested the accused. The accused are being produced in the Hon’ble court.
