Rachakonda: Cyberabad Metropolitan Police was bifurcated in 2016 and Cyberabad East was renamed as Rachakonda Police Commissionerate. Born in Maharashtra in 1970, Mr. Mahesh Bhagwat IPS Rachakonda took charge as the first CP. He created a record by working as CP for six consecutive years for a police commissionerate in Telugu states. Today, the government has appointed him as the Additional DG of CID. Mr. DS Chauhan will come as the new CP of Rachakonda.
