Mizoram : The Mizoram Police continues to fight the War on Drugs in full swing. Gangs of drug smugglers/ peddlers have been busted. In the evening of (22.1.202), the Special Narcotics Police Station team recovered and seized 140 grams kept in 10 soap cases of heroin, valued at Rs.70 lakhs in the International market at Zonuam, Aizawl from the joint possession of Hminlawma (35) s/o Alim Joe of Zokhawthar, J.Lalrinchhana (29), s/o Roliankapa of Kanan Veng, Lalremruata (30), s/o Lalzamlova of Tanhril, C.Lalrinawmi (36), d/o C.Lalthlamuana of Zotlang, Aizawl and Lalruatchhungi (26), d/o Vanlalpeka of Dawrpui Vengthar, Aizawl. In this regard, Special Narcotics Police Station has registered case under ND&PS Act and further investigation is being carried out.
