Rachakonda: Acting on credible information, the sleuths of Hayathnagar Police, LB Nagar Zone. Rachakonda Commissionerate busted an interstate drug peddlers namely Bharath Bapurao Panchan(34), S/O Late Bapurao Panchan, Occ: Dcm Driver And Aakash Anurath Kamble(38) S/O Anurath Kamble, Occ: Dcm Driver both hailed from Maharastra state and seized Contraband Ganja -160 kgs. One Dcm Container bearing registration number MH 04 KF 1640 and two mobile phones from their possession all worth Rs. 70 lakhs.
The accused Lal Bi Gulam Shaik, Bharath Bapu Rao Panchan and Aakash Anurath Kamble have indulged in illegal transportation of ganja and they transport ganja regularly from agency area Chinthapally. Vishakapatnam District Of AP State to Mumbai via Hyderabad to their prospective customers and thereby making huge profits by doing this illegal business. Lal Bi Gulam Shaik runs transport office by name and style Lavanya Logistics at Bhiwandi City, Mumbai of Maharastra State, Bharath Bapu Rao Panchan and Aakash Anurath Kamble have been working as DCM drivers under Lal Bi Gulam Shaik for the past two years. In this context about one year ago, Lal Bi Gulam Shaik informed and offered to Bharath Bapu Rao Panchan and Aakash Anurath Kamble that, he used to procure ganja from Prasad at cheaper rate per kilo for an amount of Rs.2,000/- with help of his mediators Anwar Pasha and Rani and the same he would transport to Mumbai via Rajahmundry, Khammam, Suryapet, Hyderabad and selling the same to his prospective customers in Mumbai, if they would transport ganja from agency area to Mumbai, they will give an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- per trip. On Lal Bi Gulam Shaik’s offer Bharath Bapu Rao Panchan and Aakash Anurath Kamble agreed for the greed of money. Since then they have been transporting ganja from Chinthapally agency of Vishakapatnam district to Mumbai and they got huge profits by doing this illegal business. As their business has been increased, Lal Bi Gulam Shaik offered 10% share for an amount of Rs.2,00,000/- from his share. As usual on 14.03.2023 on the instructions of Lal Bi Gulam Shaik the accused Bharath Bapu Rao Panchan and Aakash Anurath Kamble took medicines load in their DCM from Mumbai to Vijayawada, after unloading the said medicine load in Vijayawada. Bharath Bapu Rao Panchan and Aakash Anurath Kamble contacted Lal Bi Gulam Shaik, then Lal Bi Gulam Shaik replied that Prasad,Anwar Pasha, Rani will come upto Anakapally in a car along with ganja and the same they have to load in their DCM Container, on the instructions of Lal Bi Gulam Shaik, they went to Anakapally locality, where they waited at the outskirts of Anakapally, where they got loaded ganja around 160 kgs (80 packets) on 15.03.2023 at night hours. After loading ganja, they started from there along with DCM container, while they were coming to Mumbai Via Rajahmundry, Khammam, Suryapet, on the way when they reached at ORR Peddamberpet on 16.03.2023 at early morning hours, on specific information Hayathnagar Police conducted vehicle checking and apprehended them and took them into custody and found total (80) bags ganja weight about 160 kgs. The above ganja, DCM container bearing registration number MH 04 KF 1640 and two mobile phones were seized by Hayathnagar Police .
The arrest of accused person were made under the supervision of Mr. D.S. Chauhan, I.P.S., Commissioner Of Police, Rachakonda, Mr. V. Satyanarayana, I.P.S., Joint. Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda. Mrs. B. Sai Sri, DCP, Lb Nagar Zone and under the directions of Mr. K.Purushotham Reddy. Asst. Commissioner of Police, Vanasthalipuram Division, by Mr. H.Venkateshwarlu. Inspector of Police, Mr. R. Niranjan, Detective Inspector of Police and along with his team. The good work turned out by the Hayathnagar Police is highly appreciated and suitably rewarded by the officers.
