Satna: On a Tuesday, the Dial-100 control room in Bhopal was informed of a young man’s suicide attempt in Satna district. According to the report, the 23-year-old had hanged himself in a room near Azad Chowk, under the jurisdiction of the Amarpatan police station. The police were urgently required to provide assistance in the matter.
The Police team of the district was immediately dispatched to the scene with all the details of the incident. They reached the location promptly and found that the young man was indeed attempting to take his own life. Further investigation revealed that he was struggling with family problems, which had led him to this drastic decision.
Fortunately, the police staff arrived in time to prevent the hanging and stop the young man from taking his life. They convinced him to step back from the edge, and after a thorough examination, he was handed over to his family members.
