The PEB (Promotion Evaluation Board) has recommended the promotion of Mr. Arimadhivendhan, who had previously served as a Sub-Inspector (Tester) in the Police Department of Puducherry, to the post of Director in the Finger Print Bureau. The promotion is on a regular basis and with immediate effect.
As per the rules and regulations governing the promotion, Mr. Arimadhivendhan will receive a salary in Level 7 of the Pay Matrix, along with all the usual allowances that are applicable as per the norms in force from time to time. This includes any standard allowances that are granted to employees in similar positions in the Finger Print Bureau of the Police Department.
It should be noted that if Mr. Arimadhivendhan has already received any financial upgradation under the ACP/MACP (Assured Career Progression/MACP) Scheme, he will not be entitled to any further pay fixation upon his promotion to the position of Director in the Finger Print Bureau.
The posting of Mr. Arimadhivendhan will be in the Finger Print Bureau of the Police Department in Puducherry.
