Thrissur: Inspector General of Police North Region Mr. Neeraj Kumar Gupta inaugurated the Kerala Police pavilion at the Thrissur Pooram exhibition city. The pavilion serves as a platform to educate the public on the various services provided by the Kerala Police, including emergency blood service, cyber crime prevention, and traffic safety.
The pavilion showcases detailed information on several critical topics such as “What to do if Mobile Phone is Lost,” “Ways to Prevent Violence against Women and Children,” “Police Dogs Squad (K 9 Squad),” “Operation of Police Telecommunication Equipment,” “Passport Verification,” and more.
The exhibition also includes a state-of-the-art motorcycle that allows visitors to take selfies and shoot air rifles. The motorcycle is the latest addition to the Thrissur City Police’s fleet, and it provides a unique and interactive way for visitors to engage with the police department.
The inauguration ceremony was presided over by City Police Commissioner Mr. Ankit Asokan and attended by several high-ranking police officials, including Addie Superintendent of Police Mr. Biju. K.
