Rachakonda: Rachakonda Commissioner Mr. DS Chauhan’s recent visit to Pahad Sharif police station involved him interacting with the people who had come to register complaints and observing the work of the staff. After listening to the grievances of the citizens, Mr. Chauhan advised the police officials that they should not involve themselves in civil disputes and instead leave such matters to be dealt with in court. He emphasized that it is essential to talk to the complainants politely and make a genuine effort to resolve their problems. Mr. Chauhan also instructed the officials to prioritize resolving issues faced by elderly women and ensure that their concerns are addressed promptly.
During his visit, Mr. Chauhan also highlighted the need for surveillance measures to be implemented against those who have migrated from other states and are residing in the local suburbs. He emphasized that such individuals should not be allowed to engage in any illegal activities, and the police should take necessary actions to prevent any criminal activities.
To establish better communication with the public, Mr. Chauhan announced that he would personally visit police stations such as Pahadisharif Police Station, Nered Met Police Station, Bhuvanagiri Station, etc., once a month. He would listen to the problems faced by the people and work towards resolving them. He stated that this initiative would help him understand the problems faced by the people better and ensure that he stays connected with them.
Mr. Chauhan also shared his concern about the increasing number of cybercrimes and urged citizens to be alert and cautious. He advised against sharing any personal information with anyone, especially over the internet. He emphasized the importance of staying vigilant and urged citizens to report any suspicious activities to the police.
Later, Mr. Chauhan conducted a crime review meeting with officials from the Maheswaram zone to discuss the current crime scenario and devise strategies to tackle them effectively. Overall, Mr. Chauhan’s visit to the police station and his interactions with the people and officials were aimed at establishing better communication and ensuring prompt resolution of grievances while working towards maintaining law and order in the region.
