With immediate effect, the following Assistant Commandants of IRBn have been reassigned their duties as per the order of the DGP:
Mr. L. Senthilmurugan has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Housing and Supervision, specifically overseeing the areas of Mahe, Yanam, and Central Prison in Kalapet. Additionally, he has been appointed as the Commander for the C&E (Crime and Enforcement) company.
Mr. A. Tamiiedassan has been assigned the role of CASO (Counter-Insurgency and Anti-Terrorism Operations) and appointed as the Commander for the A&F (Accounts and Finance) company.
Mr. R. Rineeshchandra has been designated as the DDO (Drawing and Disbursing Officer) and will be responsible for supervising the Kiraikal Detachment.
Mr. R. Rajesh has been given multiple responsibilities, including Welfare, CPCSC (Central Police Canteen Stores Committee), Wet Canteen management, MTO (Motor Transport Officer), Wireless communication, Sports coordination, and appointed as the Commander for the D company.
Mr. S. Karthigayan has been assigned the duties related to Head Quarter/Establishment management, along with the role of Adjudant. He has also been appointed as the Commander for the HQ (Headquarters) company.
Mr. R. Muthukumar has been appointed as the ADC (Aide-de-Camp) to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, providing assistance and support in various capacities.
Mr. K. Gobi has been assigned the responsibilities of QM (Quartermaster) for managing supplies and logistics, Armoury management, Training coordination, and overseeing NDRF (National Disaster Response Force) activities. Additionally, he has been appointed as the Commander for the B company.
The concerned officers are required to assume their new positions only after undergoing proper verification. Once they have assumed their respective charges, they should promptly inform the undersigned authority. This order has been issued by the DGP.
