Vijayawada: In a solemn event held at the office of the Commissioner of NTR District Police Department in Vijayawada, Mr. Kanti Rana Tata IPS, the esteemed Police Commissioner, presented a generous cash check to express support and provide financial assistance to the grieving family of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mr. D. Prabhakar, who tragically lost his life while on duty due to a devastating road accident. The heartfelt ceremony took place on the 9th of June, 2023.
The poignant occasion saw the esteemed City Police Commissioner, Mr. Kanti Rana Tata IPS, personally hand over a check amounting to one lakh rupees from the Additional Corpus Fund to Mrs. Karuna Kumari, the wife of the late Mr. Prabhakar. This gesture aimed to alleviate some of the financial burden the family may face during these trying times.
The event was graced by the presence of notable figures, including Admin D.C.P. Mr. Moka Sattibabu, A.O. Mr. Ranga Rao, and the esteemed Police Association President, Mr. Somaiya.
