The Uttarakhand State Special Task Force (STF) has successfully apprehended a high-value target who had been evading capture for the past six months. The accused individual, named Nihal Suman, was wanted by the law enforcement authorities with a substantial reward of Rs.25000 declared on his head. This notable achievement was made possible under the astute leadership of Mr. Ashok Kumar IPS, the Director General of Police for Uttarakhand.
The STF promptly assembled a dedicated team, led by the capable and diligent Inspector Mr. MP Singh, who was assigned as the in-charge of the operation. Located at the Rudrapur Police Station, Inspector Singh and his team tirelessly pursued the fugitive, Nihal Suman, in their relentless pursuit of justice.
After meticulous planning and thorough investigation, the STF team was able to trace Nihal Suman at Tarai Vihar, located in Rudrapur. Notably, Nihal Suman had been evading capture from the police station’s transit camp in the Udham Singh Nagar district.
Executing a three-day operation with utmost precision and coordination, the STF team, operating from the Preet Vihar Colony, successfully apprehended the accused. This arrest not only brought Nihal Suman to justice but also resulted in the recovery of the promised reward of Rs.25000.
It is important to highlight that Nihal Suman was wanted in connection with a case registered under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code at the Thana Transit Camp. This section of the law deals with offenses related to cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property.
The comprehensive efforts of the STF team, coupled with the invaluable guidance provided by Director General of Police, Mr. Ashok Kumar IPS, have showcased the professionalism and dedication of Uttarakhand’s law enforcement agencies.
