Hyderabad: Acting on credible information, the Telangana State-NAB, in a joint operation with H-NEW and Banjara Hills Police, swiftly apprehended three international drug peddlers and one local peddler. The individuals were found to be in possession of significant quantities of illicit narcotics, specifically cocaine and MDMA, further intensifying the gravity of the situation.
During the operation, law enforcement authorities seized a total of 100 grams of cocaine, a highly potent and illicit substance known for its stimulant properties, and 300 grams of MDMA, a psychoactive drug commonly referred to as ecstasy or molly. The total street value of the confiscated drugs is estimated to be an astounding Rs. 1 crore, underscoring the magnitude of the illicit drug trade these individuals were involved in.
Furthermore, in an effort to dismantle their criminal network and gather evidence, five cell phones were also seized from the possession of the apprehended individuals. These electronic devices may serve as crucial sources of information, helping law enforcement officials trace their connections, suppliers, and customers, thereby aiding in the overall investigation.
The swift and decisive action taken by the Telangana State-NAB, in collaboration with H-NEW and Banjara Hills Police, highlights their commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.
