Chandigarh: An announcement has been made by the Traffic Police to inform the general public that due to an increase in the water flow level at Sukhna Chow, one of the gates of Sukhna Lake has been opened. This action has been taken to manage the water levels and prevent potential flooding. Consequently, there is water overflow occurring at the low-level bridge of Sukhna Chow, specifically on the road that leads from Vill Makhanmajra towards the Zirakpur side.

Given this situation, it is of paramount importance that all citizens exercise caution and prioritize their safety. In light of this, individuals are strongly advised and earnestly requested to refrain from using the road in question. Taking this road could pose significant risks due to the overflowing water and potentially hazardous conditions at the low-level bridge.

In the interest of public safety and to prevent any potential mishaps or accidents, it is strongly recommended that people do not attempt to cross the bridge at this location. The authorities are closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary actions to address the water flow and ensure the safety of everyone in the vicinity.

Instead, citizens are encouraged to seek alternative routes and exercise patience while the situation is being managed by the appropriate authorities. The cooperation of the public in adhering to these safety measures is greatly appreciated, as it will help prevent any unnecessary risks or emergencies that could arise from attempting to navigate the road affected by the water overflow.
